Since Bassford Remele's inception in 1882, we have maintained a strong commitment to serving our community. Our firm's founding partner, Frederick B. Snyder, and others who followed set high standards not only for quality legal services but also for service to the profession and to the community at large. - American Diabetes Association - to prevent and cure diabetes and to improve the lives of all people affected by diabetes.
- American Heart Association - to reduce disability and death from cardiovascular diseases and stroke.
- American Red Cross - to provide relief to victims of disaster and help people prevent, prepare for, and respond to emergencies.and death from cardiovascular diseases and stroke.
- Autism Society of Minnesota - to enhance the lives of individuals with autism spectrum disorders.
- Children's Law Center of Minnesota - to promote the rights and interests of Minnesota 's children, especially children of color and children with disabilities, in the judicial system.
- Families Moving Forward - to provide shelter and supportive services to low income families with children.
- Feed My Starving Children - to assist in feeding starving children hungry in body and spirit
- Greater Twin Cities United Way - to bring together government, business and nonprofits to improve individual lives and strengthen the whole community simultaneously.

- Page Education Foundation - to increase participation of Minnesota’s youth of color (African American, American Indian, Asian American and Chicano/Latino) in post-secondary education.
- People Serving People – to provide a safe, sober environment for homeless families while promoting self-sufficiency.
- Plymouth Church Neighborhood Foundation - to create public awareness of homelesness -- sponsorship of a Night on the Street where youth groups sleep outside in a village of cardboard boxes.
- Project SUCCESS - to help young people from middle school through high school gain confidence in creative thinking, decision making, goal setting and resourcefulness while developing the skills to plan their future.
- Twin Cities Habitat for Humanity - to eliminate poverty housing from the Twin Cities and to make decent, affordable shelter for all people a matter of conscience.
- Urban Ventures - to build a successful community in South Minneapolis.
- Volunteer Lawyers Network - to advise and represent economically disadvantaged people with legal problems, through volunteer attorneys and without charge to the clients.
