Associate and Law Clerk Opportunities
The firm generally hires associates from its summer clerkship program, although qualified candidates may be considered.
Please note: all of our hiring needs for 2008 summer clerkships have been met.
The firm annually participates in on-campus interviews for law clerk and associate positions at the University of Minnesota Law School, William Mitchell College of Law, Hamline University School of Law and the University of St. Thomas School of Law.
Bassford Remele also regularly sponsors and participates in the Minnesota Minority Recruitment Conference.
The firm's summer law clerk program is less structured than many other programs, allowing law clerks to make the most of the experience based on their own interests. During their summer clerkship, clerks will:
- Work in a variety of practice areas.
- Perform legal research and draft various legal documents.
- Attend trials, motions, depositions and other events.
