Bassford Remele Obtains Jury Defense Verdict in Personal Injury Case

Bassford Remele obtained a defense verdict in a personal injury jury trial venued in Swift County District Court. Plaintiffs alleged that the firm’s client, a regional propane service provider, negligently performed service work at a residential property, resulting in a propane explosion approximately eight years later. Plaintiffs asserted claims of personal injury, lost income and loss of consortium, and sought damages in excess of $13 million dollars. The jury made a finding of no liability, returned a verdict in favor of Bassford Remele’s client on all counts, and further awarded Plaintiffs $0 in damages.
