Mark Hodkinson Obtains Defense Verdict in § 1983 Case

Bassford Remele Shareholder Mark P. Hodkinson recently obtained a defense verdict in a § 1983 case venued in Hennepin County District Court. The plaintiff alleged his constitutional rights were violated during an arrest and sued a city police department and one of its police officers. The Bassford firm successfully represented the police department and police officer. The jury found that there had been no violation of the plaintiff’s constitutional rights and that he was not entitled to an award of any money damages.
Mr. Hodkinson is a trial lawyer with 20 years experience of successfully trying and resolving many types of disputes.
