Firm Welcomes New Associates

Bassford Remele is pleased to announce that Jonathan C. Marquet, Stephen P. Aggergaard, Janine M. Luhtala, and Jeffrey R. Mulder have joined the firm as associates.
Mr. Marquet graduated from Boston College Law School. He has a general commercial litigation practice that spans a broad range of complex litigation, including matters involving product liability, construction, securities, real estate, contracts, fraud, unfair competition, breach of fiduciary duties, and insurance law. He is admitted to practice in Minnesota, New York and New Jersey.
Mr. Aggergaard graduated cum laude from William Mitchell College of Law and received a Masters of Science in Journalism with honors from Northwestern University. He practices in the areas of appellate law, business and commercial litigation, and professional liability. He also practices, writes on, and advises clients regarding media and First Amendment-related issues.
Ms. Luhtala graduated from William Mitchell College of Law and received her B.A. from the College of St. Benedict where she was awarded the President Scholarship. Ms. Luhtala practices in all areas of civil litigation. She is fluent in Spanish.
Mr. Mulder graduated magna cum laude from the University of Minnesota Law School and received his B.A. magna cum laude from Hamline University where he also received the Joe Hutton Memorial Scholarship for Academic and Athletic Excellence. Mr. Mulder practices in all areas of civil litigation, including professional liability, insurance coverage, employment law, motor vehicle and no-fault.
