David Turner Authors Article on Appealing Probate and Trust Orders

The Minnesota State Bar Association Probate & Trust Law Section recently published an article by Bassford Remele Attorney David A. Turner. The article, "Appealing Trust and Probate Orders," addresses some of the unique issues and problems posed by appeals from orders in trust and estate cases, including what types of orders are appealable, the preclusive effect of prior orders, and how appeals of trust orders may differ from appeals of comparable probate and estate orders.

Mr. Turner received his B.A. from Stanford University in 1996 and his J.D. cum laude from the University of Minnesota in 2002. He has served as an Adjunct Writing Professor at William Mitchell College of Law. Mr. Turner practices in the areas of appellate law, business and commercial litigation, trusts and estates litigation, products liability and professional liability. He is admitted to practice in Minnesota and California, and before the U.S. District Court of Minnesota, and the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Eighth Circuit.
