Shanda Pearson Named Up & Coming Attorney

Bassford Remele is pleased to announce that Shanda K. Pearson has been selected as a 2008 Up & Coming Attorney by Minnesota Lawyer. The award is reserved for newer attorneys who have distinguished themselves during their first 10 years of practice. Criteria for selection includes leadership, professional accomplishment and service to the legal community. Ms. Pearson was honored at an awards luncheon held on May 8, 2008.
Ms. Pearson focuses her practice on appellate law, civil litigation, health care law and insurance coverage. She has been involved in a broad variety of appeals in the Minnesota Supreme Court and Minnesota Court of Appeals, ranging from property, tort, and family law to constitutional law. Ms. Pearson has also represented clients in state and federal court in various types of cases, including premises liability, personal injury and wrongful death actions, as well as nursing home litigation.
