Kelly Putney Elected to Minnesota Defense Lawyers Association Board

Bassford Remele is pleased to announce that Shareholder Kelly A. Putney has been elected to the Board of Directors of the Minnesota Defense Lawyers Association (“MDLA”). Ms. Putney was elected to the 17-member board at the association’s annual meeting in August.
The MDLA is an association dedicated to serving the needs of lawyers engaging primarily in the defense and trial of civil disputes. MDLA is affiliated with the Minnesota State Bar Association and DRI -- The Voice of the Defense Bar.
A magna cum laude graduate of the University of Minnesota Law School, Ms. Putney focuses her practice on the defense of professional liability matters. She regularly defends healthcare professionals, as well as many of the major healthcare providers in the Twin Cities, in professional negligence litigation. She also represents physicians, dentists, nurses, chiropractors and other professionals at their respective licensing boards on disciplinary matters. Ms. Putney also defends a variety of other professionals, including attorneys, architects, insurance agents and real estate agents.
