Charles Lundberg to Speak on Legal Ethics at Intellectual Property Law Association Annual Meeting

Bassford Remele Shareholder Charles E. Lundberg will present "Practical Legal Ethics in an Intellectual Property Practice" at the American Intellectual Property Law Association (AIPLA) Annual Meeting on October 20, 2007, in Washington, DC. The AIPLA is a 17,000 member, national bar association constituted primarily of intellectual property lawyers in private and corporate practice, in government service, and in the academic community.
Mr. Lundberg is a “lawyer’s lawyer,” advising attorneys and law firms on matters involving legal malpractice, legal ethics and other aspects of the law of lawyering. He served for twelve years on the Minnesota Lawyers Professional Responsibility Board, the last six of those years as Board Chair. Mr. Lundberg has also handled hundreds of appeals and is recognized as one of the state's top appellate attorneys. In 2006 he was inducted as a Fellow in the American Academy of Appellate Lawyers.
Mr. Lundberg has been named a “Top 100 Super Lawyer,” “Top 10 Appellate Super Lawyer,” a Leading American Attorney in the fields of Civil Appellate Law and Professional Malpractice, and an “Attorney of the Year.” In recognition of his outstanding efforts to advance the legal profession and the administration of justice, Mr. Lundberg received both the Minnesota State Bar Association Professional Excellence Award (2005) and the Hennepin County Bar Association Professionalism Award (2004). Mr. Lundberg currently serves as an adjunct professor at the University of St. Thomas Law School, and previously taught at William Mitchell College of Law.
