Christopher Morris Discusses HCBA Agenda with Minnesota Lawyer

Bassford Remele Shareholder and Hennepin County Bar Association (HCBA) President Christopher R. Morris discussed his agenda for the 8,400 member HCBA with Minnesota Lawyer. Mr. Morris believes access to justice is the most important issue on his agenda. He plans to address this issue in a variety of ways including by continuing to encourage lawyers to volunteer their time for pro bono representation, and continuing to pursue the "Call for Justice," a nonprofit LLC supported by the HCBA Foundation and Ramsey County Bar Foundation that was formed to create a hotline that will offer a source of brief advice or referrals to appropriate legal service providers, for the poor and disadvantaged.
