Bassford Remele's hiring needs for 2022 have been fulfilled.

Bassford Remele’s Summer Law Clerk Program is designed to reflect what it is like to be an associate attorney at the firm. We do that by focusing on each clerk’s individual interests, providing them the opportunity to experience a variety of practice areas by working on legal research and writing assignments, and by attending trials, depositions, and other events with associates and shareholders throughout the summer. And we never hire more clerks than we need to fill anticipated openings for new lawyers. Our Law Clerk Program is our primary recruiting pool for our associate hiring. While we are unable to offer a guarantee, every 2L clerk in the past ten years has been invited to join our firm as an associate after graduation-a testament to both the program and the quality of the students we recruit.

Bassford Remele participates in 2L on-campus recruiting at all Minnesota law schools and also conducts interviews at the Minnesota Minority Recruitment Conference and the Cook County (Chicago) Minority Job Fair. The firm also participates in the Twin Cities Diversity in Practice 1L Law Clerk Program. Interested candidates from other law schools are also welcome to apply for a summer position.
