• One of the biggest changes that Regulation F brought upon the accounts receivable management industry was the Model Validation Notice — an initial written communication detailing information about the debt. Not necessarily intended to be an opportunity to try and collect on the debt, although there is a portion of the notice that can be returned with a payment, the notice has the potential to fundamentally change how debts are collected by third-party agencies.
