The Federal Bar Association recently published Sheri Stewart's article entitled "A Historical View of How Race and Politics Have Affected Voter Access." The article highlights the legacy of the late Congressman John Lewis, who inspired people to get in "good trouble." It also showcases a CLE program where distinguished panelists from the Minnesota legal community and government shared their perspectives on the importance of the right to vote.
The Federal Bar Association also published Ms. Stewart's article entitled "Systemic changes for transforming the Minneapolis Police Department." This article was written in the wake of the murder of George Floyd while in police custody and the Minneapolis City Council’s pledge to transform the Minneapolis Police Department.
