Overview
Benjamin Formell is a litigation attorney, focusing his practice on commercial litigation, trust and estate litigation, construction, employment, and insurance coverage.
Benjamin has worked on a number of business disputes in both state and federal court, where he has obtained favorable results for his clients. He has experience conducting research, drafting legal documents, managing discovery, and drafting and arguing dispositive motions.
Benjamin graduated from the Duke University School of Law in 2020, where he gained practical experience through his participation in Duke’s Wrongful Convictions Clinic and the Duke DC Externship Program, spent as a law clerk for the United States Senate Judicial Committee. Immediately following law school, he served as a law clerk to Chief Judge Louis A. Bledsoe, III of the North Carolina Business Court.
