Overview

Mr. Zumbach focuses his practice in the areas of bankruptcy/creditors’ remedies, commercial litigation, and consumer law defense.

Before joining Bassford Remele, Mr. Zumbach practiced at a law firm in central Minnesota where he gained significant experience representing clients in litigation and ADR. Before entering practice, he served as a Bridge Fellow for the Minnesota Court of Appeals for the Honorable Carol A. Hooten. He also served as a law clerk for the Honorable Kathryn L. Quaintance at the Fourth Judicial District. Mr. Zumbach graduated from the University of Minnesota Law School. During law school, he worked as a research assistant for Professors Judith T. Younger and Morris Kleiner. He also worked as a certified student attorney at the law school’s Low Income Tax Clinic, representing clients before the Internal Revenue Service and the Minnesota Department of Revenue.

Mr. Zumbach is a volunteer for Central Minnesota Legal Services. He provides naturalization and asylum counsel with Mid-Minnesota Legal Aid and the Advocates for Human Rights. Mr. Zumbach is recognized as a Minnesota State Bar Association North Star Lawyer and serves on the Bassford Remele Pro Bono Committee.
