Overview

Ms. Hennessy focuses her practice in the areas of consumer law defense, professional liability, insurance coverage, organizational liability, and construction.

Prior to joining Bassford Remele, Ms. Hennessy served as a law clerk for the Honorable Celeste F. Bremer for the Southern District of Iowa. Ms. Hennessy graduated magna cum laude from the University of St. Thomas School of Law. During law school, she gained experience litigating in state court while working for the Olmsted County Attorney’s Office. She also gained valuable experience within the federal judicial system while advocating for clients in the law school’s Federal Commutations Clinic.

Ms. Hennessy was awarded the Mission Award for Scholarly Engagement and Societal Reform for her work with victims of sex-trafficking, and her attempts to reform clemency legislation in Minnesota. She is a member of Minnesota Women Lawyers.
