Overview

Ms. Pugh concentrates her practice in all aspects of employment law, unfair competition, and reasonable accommodation law for employers, housing providers, and places of public accommodation.

Ms. Pugh represents businesses in state, federal, and appellate courts.  Ms. Pugh also guides human resources personnel and general counsel through sensitive personnel matters–often training management, staff, and counsel on risk management and loss prevention strategies. She conducts employment investigations and responds to Equal Employment Opportunity Commission and Minnesota Department of Human Rights charges.

Ms. Pugh also regularly defends owners and managers of large, residential properties in housing, state, and federal court, advising on complex regulations, drafting leases and executing eviction actions, and defending fair housing claims.
