Overview

Ms. Gustafson represents clients in various legal matters, including consumer law defense, employment, real estate law, professional liability, and trust and estates litigation.

Ms. Gustafson is focused on crafting results-driven solutions to ensure the most favorable outcomes for her clients. She is passionate about applying the law to everyday client problems and translating legalese into practical insights for clients. Ms. Gustafson’s favorite issues are complex legal questions requiring her to craft creative, out-of-the-box solutions. She has experience advocating for clients in complex landlord/tenant disputes, representing non-profit corporations, assisting in business transactions, and drafting and analyzing real estate leases and corporate documents.

Ms. Gustafson attended Drake University Law School, completing her Juris Doctor and Master of Business Administration with honors. During law school, she interned with the Iowa Hospital Association in government relations, where she assisted in lobbying for telehealth legislation. Ms. Gustafson was also selected for a prestigious business fellowship at Atlantic Media in Washington, D.C., and interned in the Office of the First Lady at the White House.
