Ms. Eckman is a litigator, focusing her practice in the areas of employment litigation/advice, professional liability, and general liability.

Ms. Eckman graduated from the University of St. Thomas School of Law, where she served as Secretary and Compliance Chair of the Journal of Law and Public Policy. During law school, Ms. Eckman worked as a certified student attorney in the Elder Law Clinic. Prior to law school, Ms. Eckman gained experience in disability policy while working with people with disabilities at the Olmstead Implementation Office, which facilitates policy implementation for the Minnesota Olmstead Plan. The interagency plan of measurable goals and strategies helps people with disabilities work, learn, and live life in the most integrated setting of their choice.
