Overview

Mr. Bakke is a litigator who focuses his practice in the areas of commercial litigation, products liability, employment law, and professional liability. Mr. Bakke takes pride in being an advocate for his clients and helping navigate the stress of litigation.

As a litigator, Mr. Bakke has experience representing clients in all stages of litigation, from pre-suit advice and counsel through trial and appeals, involving commercial disputes, products liability, employment matters, and professional liability. Mr. Bakke has successfully obtained dismissal of claims on behalf of his clients in state and federal court.

Mr. Bakke graduated from Mitchell Hamline School of Law and served on the executive board of the Mitchell Hamline Law Review as managing editor for Law Review.

Obtained voluntary dismissal of attorney meaningful involvement claim and summary judgment in favor of collection law firm on consumer FDCPA claim that law firm failed to verify the debt before executing on judgment.

Obtained dismissal of professional liability claims against attorney on the grounds the plaintiffs lacked standing to assert the claims.

Obtained summary judgment dismissal of negligence claims made by plaintiffs alleging their neighbors altered the drainage of their property causing water to flow into plaintiffs’ basement.
