Overview

Ms. Gilbert focuses her practice in the areas of commercial litigation, employment law, medical malpractice, and professional liability. She has extensive experience managing discovery and fact investigations, and has briefed for the Minnesota Supreme Court, District of Minnesota, Eastern District of Wisconsin and the Eighth Circuit.

Prior to attending the University of Minnesota Law School, Ms. Gilbert gained significant business experience managing LLCs and creating small business solutions. During law school, Ms. Gilbert was a member of the University of Minnesota’s Litigation and Trial Advocacy Group and the Women’s Law Student Association. She also undertook a significant research project analyzing gendered narratives surrounding human rights violations, mentored by the United Nations Special Rapporteur for Counter-Terrorism. While in law school, Ms. Gilbert served as a judicial extern for Magistrate Judge David T. Schultz in the District of Minnesota.

Ms. Gilbert graduated from the University of Minnesota Law School, where she served as the Lead Managing Editor of the Minnesota Journal of International Law.
