Overview

Mr. Gilchrist is a litigation attorney, focusing his practice in the areas of products liability, construction, and trust and estate litigation. He is experienced in taking and defending depositions, mediating cases, and drafting and arguing dispositive motions.

Mr. Gilchrist has worked on a number of large exposure products liability cases across the county where he works closely with technical experts to obtain favorable results on behalf of his clients. He has successfully defended contractors and suppliers against construction defect claims. Mr. Gilchrist has experience in trust and estate litigation handling unique issues enforcing a no-contest clause. His practice also includes defending a multi-billion dollar global retailer in general liability matters.

Mr. Gilchrist does pro-bono work through the Volunteer Lawyer Network assisting individuals with conciliation court matters.

Successfully defended a large window contractor against a construction defect claim at summary judgment. 

Obtained a favorable settlement by bringing an action to enforce a trust’s no-contest clause against a beneficiary. 

Obtained a favorable settlement involving a large propane explosion involving multiple seriously injured defendants.
