Professional Liability/Claim Prevention

With nearly four decades of legal malpractice defense experience, the team at Bassford Remele has become known as the “lawyer’s lawyers,” and for good reason. We have deep knowledge in this area of the law, helping navigate a wide range of professional-liability cases, from attorney-client privilege issues and conflicts of interests to ethics proceedings, risk management, and any number of other matters that come within the law behind lawyering.

We have built a strong reputation on long-standing relationships in the legal community, as well as our renowned experience in this area, especially our trial capabilities. A few examples of our recent wins include the defense of a law firm and its attorneys facing a client’s negligence claims, a dismissal in a partnership dispute, and several cases where, on appeal, we favorably resolved previously undecided issues for our clients.
